Founders of

SuperchargedU & Separation PA

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: children thrive when the adults around them are supported, calm and focused on their wellbeing.

Through the collaboration of SuperchargedU and Separation PA, we support parents through separation and life transitions with practical guidance, emotional support and clear direction, helping create stable, healthy environments for both parents and children.

Everything we do is grounded in a kids-first approach, where children feel safe, loved and supported.

We believe:

Children should be protected from adult conflict wherever possible

Parents deserve support during life’s most challenging transitions

Healthy communication leads to better outcomes

Personal growth and accountability strengthen parenting

Community and connection help prevent isolation

Our focus is helping parents move from conflict and uncertainty toward clarity, stability and growth.

Our approach:

Combines lived experience, mentoring support and practical systems.

We understand that every family situation is different. There is no single formula that works for everyone.

Rather than simply talking through problems, we focus on real-life implementation, helping parents take practical steps that improve their situation and create better outcomes for their children.

Why We Do This Work?

We do this work because we have been there, both growing up and as adults navigating it ourselves. We understand how challenging it can be and want to help as many families as possible move forward with support.

Our Stories

Stephen

MENTORING, COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AND BECOMING A SINGLE DAD

When Stephen separated, his children Taylor and Kai were both under five.

It was a time filled with heartbreak, uncertainty and deep self-reflection. Like many parents navigating separation, he experienced self-doubt and struggled to find direction during a period when life suddenly looked very different from what he had planned.

Through personal growth, mentoring and support from others, Stephen gradually rebuilt his life and worked hard to create a positive and respectful co-parenting environment for his children.

This experience became the foundation for his purpose.

Drawing on his background in leadership, training and personal development, Stephen began mentoring other fathers and founded the Dads Community, a not-for-profit organisation that now supports thousands of dads through connection, healthy activities and personal growth.

His work focuses on helping parents improve mindset, communication and emotional awareness so they can create healthier environments for their children.

Stephen’s work has been nationally recognised through several awards including:

• Brisbane Lions Community Champion
• Westfield North Lakes Local Hero 2025
• Sunshine Coast Community Awards Finalist 2025

Today, Stephen mentors parents who want to rebuild with confidence, calm and clarity, helping them create thriving environments for their children and themselves.

At his core, Stephen is a dad with a big heart and big kid energy who believes in people and walks beside them every step of the way.

Emma

PRACTICAL GUIDANCE AND RESILIENCE THROUGH LIFE'S CHALLENGES

Emma’s story is one of quiet strength and lived experience.

Having navigated three major separations in her own life, she understands firsthand the emotional, financial and practical challenges that can come with starting over.

Through these experiences, Emma developed a deep appreciation for the importance of organisation, clarity and calm when life feels chaotic.

With a professional background in business management, leadership and coordination, Emma naturally brings structure and practical solutions to complex situations.

She created the Practical Separation Essentials Kit to help parents organise the many moving parts that come with separation, from documents and communication through to planning the next steps in rebuilding life.

Emma is deeply passionate about supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, and is working closely with organisations to enhance the support they provide. Through practical tools and structured resources, she helps services deliver clearer, more effective support to those navigating highly vulnerable situations.

Looking to the future, Emma also holds a personal vision of developing support services for widowed parents, recognising that the loss of a partner brings its own unique set of emotional and practical challenges.

Emma is known for her kind, caring and steady nature, bringing reassurance and stability to people during uncertain times.

She has an adventurous spirit and a love for the outdoors, especially climbing mountains. She believes parents need to take care of themselves emotionally, mentally and physically so they can show up as the best version of themselves for their children.

Future Vision & Community Support

Our vision is to continue expanding support that helps families navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions.

This includes growing initiatives in the following areas.

Dads Community – Prevent Program

Stephen founded the Dads Community to reduce isolation among fathers and create spaces where dads can connect, grow and support one another.

Looking ahead, the vision is to reach more dads and positively impact more families by expanding access to community, support and preventative programs. Through the Prevent Program, we focus on improving wellbeing early, before challenges become deeper struggles.

Domestic Violence Support

Our vision is to expand our support across organisations working with individuals experiencing domestic violence, equipping them with practical resources and systems. By strengthening these services, we aim to positively impact more families and create safer, more stable environments for children.

Support for Widowed Parents

Another long-term vision is developing support and guidance for widowed parents, recognising the unique emotional and practical challenges that come with losing a partner while raising children.

Always Kids First

No matter how this work grows, the focus will always remain the same: supporting parents so children can grow up in stable, healthy environments.
